Following complaints from residents regarding the road resurfacing in the Ashvale Gardens/laburnum Crescent area of Kibblesworth during the Autumn of 2020,
Lamesley Parish Council has worked with Gateshead Local Authority Councillors to request that the works be inspected as many issues regarding the quality of the works had been raised.
The works were inspected by Lamesley Parish Council, Gateshead Council and their sub-contractor responsible for the works. It was agreed that additional works were required. These works will include weed spraying, brushing of loose debris from the road surface and adding an additional surface layer to the whole of the resurfaced road area. These works will be programmed to be completed this summer. Precise dates of the works will be advised as soon as possible.
Once completed the road surface will be re-inspected.”
